Early results

Spraying 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder 300-400 times in late July and early September on young bayberries is beneficial for the formation of flower buds, early flowering and fruiting, and increased yield. Spraying a 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder 150-200 times (4-year old trees) or (5-year old trees) or 250-300 times (6-7 year old trees) on Dongkui Yangmei before and after late July and mid August can lead to early fruiting of young Yangmei.

Protecting flowers and fruits

1. During November, spraying a concentration of 1000mg/L of paclobutrazol solution before root application or flower bud differentiation has a significant effect on promoting flowering. Generally, young trees under 5 years old cannot be used. After soil application, it should be applied every 4-5 years, and those sprayed once on the leaf should also be sprayed every 1-2 years.

2. Spraying twice a 200-fold solution and once a 400-fold solution of 5% uniconazole ultrafine wettable powder in mid July can increase the number of flower buds and increase the number of fruit bearing in water chestnuts and red bayberries.

Adjust size year

1. Da Nian Tree
① Thinning Flowers and Fruits - Spraying a 500 fold solution of 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder in the late flowering stage of the female plant of Yangmei has a thinning effect. Spraying 100mg/L of paclobutrazol or 100mg/L of indole ester after the flowering of big year trees can reduce the number of fruiting in that year and promote the occurrence of spring shoots.

② Inhibiting shoot and promoting flower growth - Spraying 300 times the amount of 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder can inhibit the growth of new shoots, accelerate summer shoot maturation, and enter flower bud differentiation.

2. Xiaonian Tree
① Protecting Flowers and Fruits - Spraying 800mg/L of paclobutrazol on young trees before flowering to suppress shoots and preserve fruits; Spraying 15-30mg/L gibberellin or spraying 0.2% borax+0.2% sucrose solution on the crown during the blooming or withering stages can increase the fruit setting rate.
② Inhibiting Flower Bud Differentiation - During the flower bud differentiation stage of Yangmei, spraying 50-150mg/L of gibberellin has a flower reducing effect.
